About Clydex AI and our pricing
What Clydex does, why API access costs less, how to verify model access and how to contact support.
What is Clydex?
Clydex is an independent API access service for developers building AI bots, games and applications. Use a Clydex account and API key with the model identifiers published in our catalog. Clydex is not OpenAI and does not claim an official partnership.
Why does it cost less?
Our procurement uses bulk subscriptions, regional pricing, promotions and discounts, and purchasing optimization. These savings support lower customer rates. Compare the published rates for the specific pool, model and context length: a Plus discount does not describe every pool or every charge.
Model access you can evaluate
We publish model IDs, supported protocols, token rates and availability observations. Test your own representative prompts and inspect the response and recorded usage before scaling. A model name or a successful response alone is not independent certification of its origin. Ask support for clarification about a specific model or capability.
